Cañon City — 1 day

Part of Colorado's Royal Gorge Region, Cañon City straddles the Arkansas River.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Thu): see the interesting displays at Museum of Colorado Prisons and then snap pictures at Royal Gorge Bridge and Park.
