Known as a ski resort town, Aspen's history goes back to its roots as a silver-mining village tucked away in an isolated valley of the Rocky Mountains.
On the 27th (Mon), gain insight at Anderson Ranch Arts Center and then look for gifts at The Emporium And Flying Circus. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: hit the slopes at Aspen Highlands.

When traveling from Estes Park in April, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Denver: temperatures range from 59°F by day to 34°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Fri) early enough to catcht the bus to Colorado Springs.
