Colorado Springs

Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Fri): brush up on your military savvy at National Museum of World War II Aviation, admire the masterpieces at Michael Garman Museum & Gallery, then walk around Garden of the Gods, and finally get to know the fascinating history of Old Colorado City. Keep things going the next day: find something for the whole family at Cave of the Winds Mountain Park and then get a taste of the local shopping with Commonwheel Artists Co-op.

To find where to stay, other places to visit, maps, and more tourist information, go to the Colorado Springs trip planner.

The Route module shows you travel options from your home to Colorado Springs. In November, plan for daily highs up to 55°F, and evening lows to 27°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sun) so you can go by car to Aurora.
