Capital of Southern Hospitality

A compact capital with stately southern history, Columbia serves as a symbol of the south.
Venture out of the city with trips to Charlotte (Carowinds & NASCAR Hall of Fame), PuckerButt Pepper Company (in Fort Mill) and Greenville (Liberty Bridge, Falls Park on the Reedy, &more). There's lots more to do: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Garden, get a sense of history and politics at South Carolina State House, indulge your taste buds at Columbia Brew Bus, and look for all kinds of wild species at Saluda Shoals Park.
