Alexandria to Columbus is an approximately 7-hour car ride. You can also fly; or drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Plan for slightly colder nights when traveling from Alexandria in October since evenings lows in Columbus dip to 47°F. On the 23rd (Sat), you're off to Loretto.
