Reaching a depth of 592 m (1,943 ft), Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States.
Step out of Crater Lake National Park to go to Prospect and see Mill Creek Falls, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: explore the striking landscape of Crater Lake National Park, admire the sheer force of Toketee Falls, identify plant and animal life at Rogue River Gorge Viewpoint, and contemplate the long history of Rim Village Visitor Center.
