Key Largo — 1 night
Diving Capital of the World
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Tue): explore the gorgeous colors at Spiegel Grove, then identify plant and animal life at Molasses Reef, and then identify plant and animal life at Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center. Keep things going the next day: observe the fascinating underwater world at Island Dolphin Care, then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and then admire the majestic nature at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.

Step out of Key West to go to Big Pine Key and see Bahia Honda State Park, which is approximately 50 minutes away.
