Gatlinburg — 5 nights

The Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains
Forbidden Caverns has been added to your itinerary. Get a sense of the local culture at Fowler's Clay Works and Alewine Pottery. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Roaring Fork and Mount LeConte. Step out of Gatlinburg with an excursion to Hike The Smokys in Sevierville--about 30 minutes away. There's lots more to do: walk around Chimneys Picnic Area, get to know the fascinating history of Noah Bud Ogle Cabin, learn about winemaking at Elkmont Winery, and identify plant and animal life at Sugarlands Valley Nature Trail.
