Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.
On the 5th (Sun), take a stroll through Savannah Historic District, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and then go on a hair-raising tour with a ghost and vampire tour. On the next day, don't miss a visit to Historic River Street, then stroll around Forsyth Park, then stroll the grounds of Bonaventure Cemetery, and finally take a memorable tour with Tours.

For more things to do, reviews, photos, and more tourist information, refer to the Savannah trip planner.

Fairbanks to Savannah is an approximately 12.5- hour combination of shuttle and flight. You can also do a combination of shuttle, flight, and bus; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 4 hours traveling from Fairbanks to Savannah. In April, Savannah is warmer than Fairbanks - with highs of 77°F and lows of 57°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can go by car to Jekyll Island.

On the 8th (Wed), examine the collection at World of Coca-Cola, steep yourself in history at Centennial Olympic Park, then partake in some friendly competition at The Escape Game Atlanta, and finally admire the majestic nature at Chastain Park. Here are some ideas for day two: observe the fascinating underwater world at Georgia Aquarium.

Plan my Atlanta trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

You can fly from Jekyll Island to Atlanta in 3 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and flight. Traveling from Jekyll Island in April, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Atlanta, with lows of 54°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
