Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
Go for a jaunt from Gettysburg to Hershey to see Hersheypark about 1h 5 min away. There's lots more to do: take in the history at Gettysburg National Military Park, contemplate the long history of Little Round Top, stroll the grounds of Gettysburg National Cemetery, and trot along with a tour on horseback.
