Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.

Attractions like William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Magic Springs Theme and Water Park make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Crater of Diamonds State Park (in Murfreesboro) and Little Rock (Riverfront Park & La Petit Roche Plaza). There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Fordyce Bathhouse, pause for some serene contemplation at Anthony Chapel, get curious at Mid-America Science Museum, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Bathhouse Row.
