Joplin or is a city in southern Jasper County and northern Newton County in the southwestern corner of the U.S. state of Missouri. Get out of town with these interesting Joplin side-trips: Bentonville (Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Walmart Museum, &more), Springfield (Johnny Morris' Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium & Fantastic Caverns) and Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel (in Bella Vista). There's lots more to do: stroll around Cunningham Park, explore the landscape on two wheels at Frisco Greenway Trail, and admire the sheer force of Grand Falls.
