Known internationally as the "Horse Capital of the World," Lexington boasts a thriving economy resting largely on its thoroughbred racehorse industry.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Tue): relax in the rural setting at Claiborne Farm, relax in the rural setting at Old Friends at Dream Chase Farm, and then experience rural life at Taylor Made Farm. On the next day, explore the different monuments and memorials at Lexington Cemetery, examine the collection at Aviation Museum of Kentucky, then take in nature's colorful creations at Ashland: The Henry Clay Estate, and finally relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers.

Los Angeles to Lexington is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. Start off your visit on the 12th (Fri): wander the streets of Old Louisville, sample the fine beverages at Barton 1792 Distillery, and then contemplate the long history of My Old Kentucky Home.
