Lexington — 5 nights

Horse Capital of the World
Known internationally as the "Horse Capital of the World," Lexington boasts a thriving economy resting largely on its thoroughbred racehorse industry. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lexington: Woodford Reserve Distillery (in Versailles), Claiborne Farm (in Paris) and Frankfort (Castle & Key Distillery, Buffalo Trace Distillery, &more). And it doesn't end there: try to win big at Keeneland, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co., immerse yourself in nature at Kentucky Horse Park, and see the interesting displays at The Great American Dollhouse Museum.

Atlanta to Lexington is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Atlanta in November, things will get little chillier in Lexington: highs are around 56°F and lows about 36°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Fri) so you can catch the flight back home.
