"The Capital of the Cape," Hyannis serves as Cape Cod's main transportation and commercial hub.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sun): explore the landscape on two wheels at Shining Sea Bikeway, then examine the collection at Heritage Museums & Gardens, and then examine the collection at Sandwich Glass Museum. On the 28th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: enjoy the sand and surf at Chatham Lighthouse Beach, kick back and relax at Nauset Beach, then pick up a one of a kind souvenir at Maps of Antiquity, and finally view the masterpieces at Addison Art Gallery.

You can drive from Boston to Hyannis in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a bus. In December, daily temperatures in Hyannis can reach 45°F, while at night they dip to 31°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
