Do your shopping at Dolphin Mall and Collins Avenue. Visiting South Beach and Fort Lauderdale Beach will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Miami side-trips: Sawgrass Mills (in Sunrise) and Everglades National Park (Shark Valley & Anhinga Trail). There's still lots to do: buy something for everyone on your list at Bayside Marketplace, zoom along the surf with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, race across the water with a speed boat tour, and contemplate the long history of Barnacle State Historic Site.
