Milwaukee boasts well-preserved historical districts with a rich European past and a strong beer-brewing tradition.

You'll explore and learn at Harley-Davidson Museum and Milwaukee Art Museum. Get outdoors at University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum and Kettle Moraine State Forest. Get out of town with these interesting Milwaukee side-trips: North Beach Park (in Racine), Big Cow, Antoinette (in Plymouth) and Holy Hill (in Hubertus). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Horicon Marsh, admire the masterpieces at Paine Art Center and Gardens, examine the collection at Illinois Railway Museum, and take an in-depth tour of Livsreise Norwegian Heritage Center.
