Natchez is the county seat and only city of Adams County, Mississippi, United States. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Emerald Mound, steep yourself in history at Mount Locust Inn & Plantation, steep yourself in history at Stanton Hall, get engrossed in the history at Rosalie Mansion, then steep yourself in history at Longwood, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Mary Basilica.

Gulfport is the second largest city in Mississippi after the state capital, Jackson. On the 16th (Sun), don't miss a visit to Beauvoir, enjoy the sand and surf at Biloxi Beach, then get interesting insight from Tours, and finally examine the collection at The Waveland Ground Zero Hurricane Museum. On the next day, visit a coastal fixture at Biloxi Lighthouse, admire the masterpieces at Walter Anderson Museum of Art, examine the collection at Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, admire the masterpieces at Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum, then examine the collection at L & N Historic Train Depot, and finally examine the collection at Busted Wrench Garage Museum.

Drive from Natchez to Gulfport in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car, train, and bus; or do a combination of car, train, and taxi. In June, daytime highs in Gulfport are 89°F, while nighttime lows are 74°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Tue) to allow time for travel back home.
