Myrtle Beach — 2 nights

Kick off your visit on the 4th (Tue): get some thrills out on the water with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure. On your second day here, pause for some serene contemplation at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, then meet the residents at Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach, then take a stroll through Broadway at the Beach, and finally take in panoramic vistas at SkyWheel Myrtle Beach.

Downingtown to Myrtle Beach is an approximately 8.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of car and flight. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Downingtown in April, with highs in Myrtle Beach at 72°F and lows at 56°F. You will have some time to spend on the 6th (Thu) before leaving for Savannah.

Kick off your visit on the 6th (Thu): go on a hair-raising tour with a ghost and vampire tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 7th (Fri): take a stroll through Savannah Historic District, see the interesting displays at SCADstory, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, then walk around Forsyth Park, and finally make a trip to Historic River Street.
