On the 19th (Fri), explore the world behind art at Museum of Fine Arts and then explore and take pictures at Fenway Park. Washington DC to Boston is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Washington DC in July: high temperatures in Boston hover around 83°F and lows are around 67°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Ogunquit.

Drive from Boston to Ogunquit in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Boston in July, plan for slightly colder nights in Ogunquit, with lows around 58°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Sun) so you can drive to Sandwich.

On the 23rd (Tue), enjoy the sand and surf at Race Point Beach, pause for some photo ops at Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum, take a leisurely stroll along MacMillan Wharf, get lost in a book at Provincetown Library, then don't miss a visit to Commercial Street, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Herring Cove Beach. On your second day here, enjoy the sand and surf at Cape Cod National Seashore, stroll through Marconi Beach, and then get a sense of history and politics at Provincetown Town Hall.
