— 5 nights

The Big Easy

Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
Laura: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site and Escape My Room New Orleans will appeal to museum buffs. Oak Alley Plantation and Evergreen Plantation will appeal to history buffs. When in New Orleans, make a side trip to see Whitney Plantation in Wallace, approximately Wallace away. And it doesn't end there: pause for some serene contemplation at Immaculate Conception Church, admire the masterpieces at Ogden Museum of Southern Art, see the interesting displays at 1850 House, and explore the wealth of natural beauty at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.
