Eureka — 1 night

Eureka is the principal city and county seat of Humboldt County in the Redwood Empire region of California. On the 11th (Tue), stroll through Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Arcata Community Forest. Keep things going the next day: get engrossed in the history at Ferndale Museum and then stroll the grounds of Ferndale Historic Cemetery.
