Medora is a city in Billings County, North Dakota, United States. On the 4th (Sun), wander the wide-open spaces of Elkhorn Ranch Site, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Painted Canyon Overlook, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of South Unit. Bismarck is the capital of the U.S. Kick off your visit on the 6th (Tue): get engrossed in the history at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum, then let the kids burn off some steam at Universal Playground/ Eagles Park, and then steep yourself in history at On-A-Slant Village. On the 7th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: ponder the world of politics at North Dakota State Capitol Building and then enjoy some diversion at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.
