More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
On the 23rd (Sun), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Joseph Cathedral, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saint Patrick Church, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and finally contemplate the long history of German Village.

On the 25th (Tue), steep yourself in history at Thomas Edison Birthplace, then contemplate the long history of Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums, then visit a coastal fixture at Marblehead Lighthouse State Park, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at Johnson's Island Confederate Cemetery. On the 26th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at Eleutheros Cooke House and Garden, then cool off at Cedar Point, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Holy Angels Catholic Church.
