A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Portland Japanese Garden and Oregon Zoo. Step out of Portland with an excursion to Multnomah Falls in Bridal Veil--about 38 minutes away. There's lots more to do: look for gifts at Powell's City of Books, admire the natural beauty at Lan Su Chinese Garden, have fun and explore at Portland Children's Museum, and admire the striking features of Pittock Mansion.

Erie to Portland is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Erie to Portland.
