Miami to Bend is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus, subway, and train. Traveling by car from Bend to Newport takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Bend in May, you will find days in Newport are little chillier (58°F), and nights are somewhat warmer (46°F). Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Thu) so you can drive to Cannon Beach.

Start off your visit on the 5th (Fri): immerse yourself in nature at Hug Point State Park, then kick back and relax at Manzanita Beach, and then admire the majestic nature at Oswald West State Park.
