Steeped in cultural and historical heritage, Philadelphia is known as the birthplace of U.S.
Attractions like Longwood Gardens and Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Education Center make great kid-friendly stops. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Brandywine River Museum of Art and Rittenhouse Square. When in Philadelphia, make a side trip to see King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, approximately 30 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: explore the world behind art at Philadelphia Museum of Art, get engrossed in the history at Penn Museum, ponder the world of politics at Independence Hall, and pause for some photo ops at Liberty Bell Center.
