Center of Fun in the Smokies

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Do your shopping at Stages West and The Apple Barn Cider Mill And General Store. Take a break from the city and head to Cumberland Gap National Historical Park and Cove Lake State Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Abrams Falls Trail & Foothills Parkway Southwest Parking), Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World (in Sevierville) and Panther Creek State Park (in Morristown). Next up on the itinerary: stop by Smoky Mountain Cat House, identify plant and animal life at Bays Mountain Park & Planetarium, and test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms.

For other places to visit, photos, maps, and other tourist information, read our Pigeon Forge travel route planning website.
