A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.

Visiting Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and Cades Cove will get you outdoors. For shopping fun, head to The Old Mill Candy Kitchen or Barber Orchard Fruitstand. When in Pigeon Forge, make a side trip to see Clingmans Dome in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, approximately 54 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: cool off at Dollywood, take in the exciting artwork at Fowler's Clay Works, do a tasting at Mill Bridge Winery, and take in the dramatic natural features at Chimney Tops Trail.
