Traditional Western attractions in Prescott include rodeos, wooden whiskey saloons, and quirky independent stores selling unique souvenirs.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Arizona Copper Art Museum and Jerome State Historic Park. Escape the urban bustle at Bearizona Wildlife Park and Oak Creek Canyon. Get out of town with these interesting Prescott side-trips: Jerome (Jerome Artists Cooperative Gallery & Holy Family Church), Sedona (Chapel of the Holy Cross, Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art, & more) and Montezuma Castle National Monument (in Camp Verde). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Downtown Historic Area.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major airports are Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, McCarran International Airport and Laughlin Bullhead International Airport. In April in Prescott, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
