Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Thu): take an in-depth tour of Museum of History, Anthropology and Art, then steep yourself in history at Sitio Histórico de San Juan, and then steep yourself in history at Old San Juan. Here are some ideas for day two: get some thrills out on the water with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, enjoy the sand and surf at Condado Beach, and then make a trip to Plaza de La Democracia.
