Durham to Raleigh is an approximately half hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. In February in Raleigh, expect temperatures between 55°F during the day and 35°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) early enough to travel to San Jose.

On the 24th (Wed), cruise along 17-Mile Drive and then meet the residents at Monterey Bay Aquarium.
