Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.
Start off your visit on the 30th (Wed): get a new perspective on nature at Natural History Museum of Utah, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, then wander the streets of Park City Main Street Historic District, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Fatali Gallery. On your second day here, see the interesting displays at Church History Museum, stroll through Temple Square, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Salt Lake Temple, admire the landmark architecture of Joseph Smith Memorial Building, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of the Madeleine, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Tabernacle.

You'll explore and learn at Dwight D. Eisenhower Library and Museum and Cosmosphere. Your inner history buff will appreciate Seelye Mansion and Old Cowtown Museum. Explore Wichita's surroundings by going to Strataca (in Hutchinson), Abilene and Smoky Valley Railroad (in Abilene) and St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church (in Marion).

Getting from Salt Lake City to Wichita by flight takes about 6 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and train.
