The Hostess City of the South

Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.

Let the collections at Webb Military Museum and American Prohibition Museum capture your imagination. Step out of Savannah with an excursion to The Church of the Cross in Bluffton--about 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Savannah Historic District, explore the galleries of Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters, identify plant and animal life at Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, and take in the spiritual surroundings of First African Baptist Church.
