Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Step out of Seattle with an excursion to ILovekickboxing in Kirkland--about 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: shop like a local with Pike Place Market, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Seattle Aquarium, stroll around Volunteer Park Conservatory, and see the sky in a new way at Pacific Science Center.

On the 24th (Sun), learn about winemaking at 8 Chains North and then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Smoketown Brewing Station. On the 25th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: let the kids burn off some steam at South Germantown Recreational Park and then stroll around Riverbend Park.
