Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Mon): take in breathtaking views at Hoover Dam Bypass, then see human ingenuity at work at Hoover Dam, and then buy something for everyone on your list at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. Keep things going the next day: get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, then try your luck at Bellagio Hotel and Casino, and then examine the collection at The Mob Museum.
