Vancouver is a city on the north bank of the Columbia River in the U.S. State of Washington, and the largest suburb of Portland, Oregon. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Officers' Row and Salmon Creek Park. Change things up with a short trip to Multnomah Falls in Bridal Veil (about 38 minutes away). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at Pearson Air Museum, contemplate the long history of George C. Marshall House, and snap pictures at Vancouver Land Bridge.
