Jay is one of the northernmost towns in Orleans County, Vermont, United States, located on the Canada–US border. On the 7th (Wed), stroll through Jay Peak Resort, then make a splash at Jay Peak Pump House, and then tee off at Jay Peak Ski Resort.

Drive from Burlington to Jay in 1.5 hours. In April, Jay is a bit cooler than Burlington - with highs of 48°F and lows of 29°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Wed) so you can travel to Woodstock.

Woodstock is the shire town of Windsor County, Vermont, United States. Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): take in the dramatic natural features at Quechee Gorge, then engage your brain at Montshire Museum of Science, then experience rural life at Sugarbush Farm, and finally make a trip to Taftsville Covered Bridge. Here are some ideas for day two: stop by Vermont Country Store, hit the slopes at Killington Resort, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Ottaquechee River.
