Vernal, the county seat and largest city in Uintah County is in northeastern Utah, United States, about 175mi east of Salt Lake City and west of the Colorado border. Start off your visit on the 9th (Tue): explore the striking landscape at Moonshine Arch and then get a new perspective on nature at Utah Field House of Natural History State Park.

Missoula is a city in the U.S. state of Montana and is the county seat of Missoula County. Kick off your visit on the 10th (Wed): see the interesting displays at Aerial Fire Depot and Smokejumper Center, then look for all kinds of wild species at Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, then stop by Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop, and finally get in on the family fun at A Carousel for Missoula.
