Just a few metro stops away from the bustle of Washington D.C., Alexandria provides a respite from the fast-paced capital.
On the 30th (Thu), pause for some photo ops at U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, stroll the grounds of Arlington National Cemetery, and then get to know the fascinating history of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the striking features of George Washington's Mount Vernon, examine the collection at Steven F.
