Freeland is a census-designated place (CDP) on Whidbey Island in Island County, Washington, United States. Kick off your visit on the 19th (Sun): kick back and relax at Double Bluff Beach, stroll around Marguerite Brons Memorial Park, then sample the fine beverages at Whidbey Island Distillery, and finally explore the landscape on two wheels at Putney Woods Trails.

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Change things up with a short trip to B&B Family Farm in Sequim (about 2 hours away). There's lots more to do: enjoy breathtaking views from Space Needle, admire the masterpieces at Seattle Art Museum, take a stroll through Pike Place Market, and take in the waterfront at Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.
