60 days in Acadia National Park Itinerary

The first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park draws visitors with its rugged landscape of ocean shoreline, low-slung granite mountains, dense woodlands, and pristine lakes.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Great Head Trail and Heart of Acadia Loop. Escape the urban bustle at Cadillac Mountain and Beech Mountain Trail. When in Acadia National Park, make a side trip to see Frenchman Bay Conservancy in Hancock, approximately Hancock away. There's much more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Pemetic Mountain, cruise along Park Loop Road, trek along The Bowl Trail, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Precipice Trail.
