Akron is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Summit County. Get out of town with these interesting Akron side-trips: John and Annie Glenn Historic Site (in New Concord), Columbus (Ohio Statehouse, Scioto Mile, &more) and The Wilds (in Cumberland). Spend the 15th (Wed) exploring nature at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Spend the 2nd (Mon) among the lush surroundings of Gervasi Vineyard.
