Atlanta

— 59 nights

The Capital of the South

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Get out of town with these interesting Atlanta side-trips: Lilburn (BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Lilburn City Park, &more), Ball Ground (Poole's Mill Covered Bridge & Gibbs Gardens) and Dawsonville (Georgia Racing Hall of Fame & Amicalola Falls State Park). Dedicate the 26th (Fri) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: admire nature's wide array of creatures at Georgia Aquarium, indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, admire the sheer force of Anna Ruby Falls, and see the interesting displays at World of Coca-Cola.
