Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Washington DC to San Francisco. Traveling from Washington DC in June, things will get a bit cooler in San Francisco: highs are around 71°F and lows about 55°F. Truckee

Truckee is an incorporated town in Nevada County, California, United States. You'll get in some beach time at West End Beach and Commons Beach Park. Visiting River Rafting & Tubing and Truckee Bike Park will get you outdoors. When in Truckee, make a side trip to see Truckee River Bike Trail in Tahoe City, approximately 32 minutes away.
