The 2.43 million hectares (6 million acres) of Denali National Park include low taiga forest, high-alpine tundra, and snowcapped mountains, all of which lead up to Mt.
Spend the 4th (Sat) surrounded by wildlife at Mc Kinley Park Rd. Spend the 10th (Fri) exploring at Wonder Lake. There's lots more to do: take in the awesome beauty at Denali, see the world from above with a helicopter tour, relax in the rural setting at Dog Gone It, and see Off-Road Tours.

New Orleans to Denali National Park and Preserve is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Alaska Standard Time, which is usually a -3 hour difference. Traveling from New Orleans in March, things will get cooler in Denali National Park and Preserve: highs are around 35°F and lows about 11°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
