Little Rock

— 59 nights

The Rock

Once inhabited by Native American tribes, today Little Rock bustles with nearly 800,000 people.
Kids will appreciate attractions like William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. Get out of town with these interesting Little Rock side-trips: Murfreesboro (Dino Dig, Crater of Diamonds State Park, &more), Hot Springs Village (Woodlands Auditorium, Cortez Golf Course, &more) and Hot Springs (The Winery of Hot Springs, Spas, &more). Spend the 29th (Sat) exploring nature at Arkansas Post National Memorial. The adventure continues: snap pictures at Big Dam Bridge, get curious at Museum Of Discovery, stroll through Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and pause for some photo ops at Testament: The Little Rock Nine Monument.

For where to stay, reviews, maps, and other tourist information, go to the Little Rock trip planner.

In January, plan for daily highs up to 51°F, and evening lows to 31°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
