Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens and Hollywood Beach. Get in touch with nature at Speed Boats Tours and Shark Valley. Change things up with these side-trips from Miami: Everglades City (Museum of the Everglades, Walking tours, & more), Everglades National Park (Gumbo Limbo Trail, Anhinga Trail, & more) and Everglades National Park (in Florida City). For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Museum-lovers will appreciate NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Madame Tussauds. Escape the urban bustle at Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Beach at Daytona Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Orlando: Stetson Mansion (in DeLand), Enterprise Heritage Center and Museum (in Enterprise) and North Brevard Historical Museum (in Titusville). There's still lots to do: take in panoramic vistas at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, explore the world behind art at The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and take in the exciting artwork at Florida Artists Gallery & Café.

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Take a break from the city and head to Stone Mountain Park and The Rock Ranch. Centennial Olympic Park and Hay House will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Atlanta side-trips: Cartersville (Booth Western Art Museum & Tellus Science Museum), Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery (in Talking Rock) and Dahlonega (Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Dahlonega Gold Museum Historic Site).
