Myrtle Beach — 33 nights

Myrtle Beach is a coastal city on the east coast of the United States in Horry County, South Carolina. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Huntington Beach State Park and Myrtle Beach State Park. Take a break from the city and head to Alligator Adventure and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Venture out of the city with trips to Wilmington (Battleship North Carolina, Zebulon Latimer House, &more), Charleston Life Charters (in Isle of Palms) and Georgetown (Kaminski House Museum, Hopsewee Plantation, &more). The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Holden Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Oak Island Beach, look for all kinds of wild species at T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station, and get some thrills out on the water with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure.

Plan my day in Myrtle Beach using traveler tips and tourist information provided by Inspirock.

Charleston to Myrtle Beach is an approximately 2.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus. In July, daytime highs in Myrtle Beach are 88°F, while nighttime lows are 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Thu) so you can fly to Key West.
