Orange Beach

— 59 nights
Orange Beach exists solely as a tourist beach town, with a permanent population of less than 6,000.
Bring the kids along to Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo and The Wharf. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Orange Beach: Fort Morgan Historic Site (in Fort Morgan), Fairhope (Weeks Bay Plantation, Weeks Bay Reserve, &more) and Dauphin Island (Isle Dauphine Golf Club, Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium, &more). Pack the 21st (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at OWA. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Gulf State Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Gulf Shores Public Beach, identify plant and animal life at Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, and whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.

In April, daytime highs in Orange Beach are 75°F, while nighttime lows are 58°F.
